Asus launched their new mid-range smartphone Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India with Flipkart partnership today. The main feature of the smartphone includes it’s large 5,000 mAh battery capacity, Full-HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, the Snapdragon 636 SoC processor, and face recognition technology.

Talk about the Redmi Note 5 Pro, Xiaomi launched their flagship smartphone Redmi Note 5 Pro in February 2018. This is the elegantly designed smartphone that comes with a powerful Snapdragon 636 processor.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Redmi Note 5 Pro both displays featured with 5.99-inch (2160×1080 pixels) FHD+ display with 18:9 screen aspect ratio and moderate bezels on either end. Comparing Max Pro M1, Note 5 Pro display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Both smartphones displays flaunt decent color and contrast and are comfortable to be viewed in any lighting condition.

Software and Hardware :

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with the octa-core Snapdragon 636, and same as the chipset as the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both smartphones build with the same processor, so the speed and performance are same. Redmi Note 5 Pro runs on the Android Nougat 7.1.2 version, there are no android Oreo updates received yet. But Zenfone Max Pro M1 runs the Android Oreo 8.1.

Camera and Battery :

Both Smartphone main attraction and important features are the cameras. It has a spot with the dual camera set up in the vertical line. Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with 12MP and 5MP rear sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens does a fairly better job than the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1’s 13MP and 5MP sensor.
