Talk about the design of the devices, Nubia Z18 Mini is definitely best among them. The device looks like a premium flagship smartphone because it sports an elegant and reflective glass back and an aluminum frame. Redmi Note 5 Pro is also well designed but it has a classic metal design, it does not give premium flagship look. Nubia Z18 Mini is powered by powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 6GB of RAM, so it should provide faster performance than Redmi Note 5 Pro. To see the display Redmi Note 5 Pro has a slightly bigger display compare to Nubia Z18 Mini, which is more useful for gaming and multimedia purpose.

Both devices have rear dual camera setup, the Nubia Z18 Mini seems better rear camera because it has 20megapixel + 5megapixel rear camera feature. (It’s only in the term of the specification, and quality of the photo we will review soon) On the other side, the front-facing selfie shooter is surely better on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, it has a 20megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash feature. To compare the battery performance, Redmi Note 5 Pro has better, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.

In conclusion, Redmi Note 5 Pro has a better display and battery capacity, even it has a good selfie shooter. Nubia Z18 Mini has a better design and potentially better performance. Our opinion is Nubia Z18 Mini is better than Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 5 Pro is slightly higher value for money. The Nubia Z18 Mini is pricing at 286$ and it has been just launched in China. Redmi Note 5 Pro is pricing at 265$.
