Honor the Huawei’s sub-brand will launch their upcoming smartphone Honor Magic 2 on October 31 in China. The news arrives via a launch event through Weibo (revealed by SlashGear). As per the report Honor Magic 2 will officially launch in the event will take place in Beijing, China on at the end of the month. Honor Magic 2 is the successor of Honor magic device.
According to the report, the device will be powered by Hisilicon Kirin 980 SoC processor paired with 6GB of RAM. Honor Magic will come with 6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2880×1440 pixels. The display of the device is expected to come without a notch and having higher aspect ratio. The smartphone will be running on EMUI 8.2 based Android operating system.
For optics, the device will sport dual rear cameras with Al features. Most probably the handset will come with slide mechanism so, it will have a full-screen display and front-facing the camera and other sensors hidden in a slide mechanism similar to Vivo Nex and Oppo Find X smartphones. Additionally, the report added Honor Magic 2 will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The handset will be packed with 40 Walt fast-charging system and it will be Huawei’s first phone to come with this technology. Another highlight is the device will come with powerful Kirin 980 processor. Anyway, the handset will be officially launched on 31st October, so stay tuned for more updates.
